To end the school year, we had visitors to our school: Enda and Hazel (local artists) and children’s author and editor Nelly.
We learnt how the children’s visits to the forest had inspired some of Hazel’s work. Enda showed us lots of different art techniques and got everyone involved, creating their own masterpieces!
Nelly read some extracts from her two books. We learnt how we too could become authors but that it takes lot of hard work also. She gave us lots of tips to get us started.
